Red Bell Flower Light Box
This light box is MADE-TO-ORDER and created in the order they are received. We create our stained glass panels using the Tiffany foil method. Our frames are handmade and designed by us. This piece is set it in a solid wood frame, and backlit to bring the colors to life.
Orders are fulfilled in the order they are received. Please allow up to 4-6 weeks for your light box to be completed. Once finished, your piece will be carefully packaged and shipped to you.

As with all traditional stained glass, this piece contains small amounts of lead solder. Please wash your hands after handling and keep out of reach of young children.
To clean, gently wipe the glass with a soft, lint-free cloth. For a deeper clean, a small amount of glass cleaner applied to the cloth (not directly to the piece) works well. To keep the wood frame looking its best, an occasional application of furniture wax or beeswax polish will protect the finish and maintain its luster. Avoid soaking or submerging the piece, and keep it away from prolonged direct moisture.

Every light box is designed and handcrafted by us, Spike and Kate. Each piece is made with care using the Tiffany foil method and real stained glass, so no two are exactly alike.
Wood Frames
We CNC our frames from solid hardwood. After rough cut on the CNC our frames go through at least 3 grits of sanding before being finished with two coats of oil, then a final coat of wax.
Lighting & Remote
All our lit frames now come with a remote and a receiver that can be plugged directly into the power cord. The remote controls power and brightness.
Braided Cord
Choose from a selection of braided power cords options for your lit frame. Each braided cord is about 36" and ends in a barrel connector that you can connect to either the remote receiver, or plug directly into the 24v power supply.
All our products are made by the two of us, right here in our home.
Local Materials
Local Materials
We source our lumber right here in Austin from Austin Fine Lumber. We are able to hand select our wood from their open warehouse. Once our wood is selected, they mill it to thickness for us, and cut it into boards that fit into the back of our Chevy Trax.
CNC Process
CNC Process
In 2025, we took a leap and invested in a home Shapeoko CNC. Our little cutter has a bed size of 2'x4' and allows us to program paths for the router to follow along a x, y, and z axis.

Finding a way to ditch the ugly plastic wire usually attached to led components was a surprising challenge. After a lot of iteration, we've landed on a combination of solder work and heat shrink the at least hide the ugly wire farther down and out of sight.

Making it work for you
The last challenge for our light frames was making something you could put your own work into. So we modified the way the frames are made in such way that glass can be added after electrical, and so that the backing plate is able to be removed easily. We created a PDF template that shows the exact measurements for the shelf so you can make your work to fit!
